DICO_incarThe use of speech technology in vehicles helps to keep the driver safe behind the wheel and improve the driving experience.  By providing state-of-the-art voice interfaces to in-vehicle navigation, entertainment and telematics systems, drivers can operate such systems safely, by letting eyes and hands focus on the primary driving tasks. As a consequence, legislation in many countries prohibits hands-on operation of certain auxiliary devices, e.g. manual dialing and text messaging on cellular phones. Speech technology from Veridict enables you to perform such tasks hands-free, by using your voice. In a joint effort called DICO, Veridict has worked together with VolvoCars, Volvo AB, TeliaSonera and the University of Gothenburg,  to develop state-of-the-art in-vehicle voice interfaces that are safe and easy to use.
